I find the DC Connect platform is extremely effective in helping me stay organized and informed about all my school related duties. I also use the Durham College email account quite a bit to stay in contact with my classmates and teachers and have had a positive experience with the platform as well. It is a site that I am on numerous times a day in order to stay informed about my grades, assignments, and to keep conected with teachers and fellow students when necessary. I have had a pleasant experience with the majority of these social media platforms. DC Connect I feel is a major part of my academic career right now. As a student currently in the Human Resources program I use the following social media platforms: Facebook, Youtube, DC Connect, My Campus, MY ITlab, and my Hotmail account. I also took several courses online previously which involved me using the Chalkboard platform to connect with my teachers, fellow students and to recieve my weekly assignments and announcements in relation to my course. When I initally came to Durham College six years ago for the Office Administration program I used the following social media platforms: Web CT, M圜ampus for email, Facebook, Youtube, and my Hotmail email account. Over the years in my post secondary education, I have used many different social media platforms.
